It always pays to follow the traffic rules. When you do not, you are not only putting yourself at risk, but also putting others in jeopardy. In a recent car accident in Arizona, an inebriated driver zipped through a red light and caused a head-on collision. After the accident, the negligent driver fled from the scene.
According to witnesses, the car, a Dodge truck sped through the red lights and hit an Infinity sedan on the side. The impact caused the passenger car to hit a sports utility vehicle. The passenger, who was couched in the front of the sedan, sustained serious injuries. The 48-year old male driver was injured in the accident. Both of them were transported to a hospital. Thankfully, the victims of the SUV did not sustain any injury in the car accident.
The crimes unit is investigating the accident. The driver who fled the scene of the accident is now being tracked. The negligent driver will have to face penalties for this.
